The new TCS campus becomes the largest single-company IT facility in the country.

Maharashtra Prime Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday inaugurated a new sprawling IT services campus, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), which would have a capacity of 30,000 employees once fully operational.

To be developed in two phases, the state-of-the-art Olympus Center TCS is the latest addition to the company's unique global network of software development and delivery centers.

Tata Consultancy Services CEO and CEO Rajesh Gopinathan said the new next-generation workplace provided Agile collaborative workspaces, a software-defined network, a security operations center, and a cloud-enabled infrastructure. .

"The consolidation of operations in Mumbai in Olympus Center will also create more indirect job opportunities in the Greater Mumbai region.

"The facility will help the TCS continue the next phase of its growth," said Gopinathan.

Among other facilities, it would also house a training block, a club house, a gym and thus offer a contemporary and holistic work culture.

Developed as a "green campus" relying on the wastewater treatment plant for rainwater harvesting, environmentally friendly and low-emission systems and appliances, the new facility is IGBC Platinum certified.

Spread over 19 square feet in the Hiranandani green complex, it becomes the largest IT facility of a single company in the country.

In addition, TCS already has 19 offices in Mumbai and surrounding areas, including headquarters and 10 delivery centers in Mumbai and Thane.
